Barbara Sala

Born in Germany, Barbara Sala moved to Canada in 1974. She has lived in Africa (Zaire), South America (Guyana and Dominican Republic), Thailand and the United States. Under the tutelage of painter Leslie Schalk, she studied charcoal, ink, pencil and acrylic in Montreal, Canada between the years of 1982 and 1985. From 1985 – 1986 she studied visual arts at University of Concordia, Montreal, Canada
