Jose de Freitas was born in 1935 (-1989) in Vitoria de Santo Antao, Pernambuco, Brazil and moved to Rio de Janeiro during the 1950s. He moved to London in 1976 and returned to Rio de Janeiro in 1977. He died in 1989.
